I was born into the world of small business and grew up in a very entrepreneurial household. Both of my parents owned successful businesses — but neither one of them considered themself “an entrepreneur.” They didn’t start their businesses from scratch — they were franchisees and licensees. And from an early age I heard about the advantages of franchising over independent business ownership. I saw firsthand the support they got from the franchisors and the camaraderie they had with other franchisees in the systems. I also saw the freedom and flexibility they had as they showed up for every school and sports activity of mine all my growing up years. I learned firsthand about the support systems and infrastructure available from franchisors because, yes, as the child of entrepreneurs I also spent a lot of time myself working in both their businesses which gave me my first work experiences.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by the entrepreneurial spirit… so I suppose it’s only natural that, after just a short period of time in the corporate world, I found myself drawn back to franchising because it truly offers the best of both worlds; the freedom, fun, and flexibility of entrepreneurship, alongside the support, colleagues, and proven systems of the corporate world. Oh….and none of the politics!

At the end of the day, I LOVE helping clients to realize their own dreams and find what THEY love to do. Business ownership can fill so many buckets from pride of ownership in a successful business to a happier more flexible lifestyle, as well as control of their own destiny and so much more. I take great pride in empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to find the right path and live their own dream.
